People & Organizations Involved in the Collaborative

The Collaborative includes children, youth, and adults with lived experience who help design a system that works for them.

The Collaborative is committed to inclusion of Indigenous peoples in its processes and to the principle “Nothing about us without us”.

The Collaborative seeks to engage and empower individuals who experience barriers resulting from conditions of special vulnerability and from biases related to race, historical trauma, gender, disability and culture.

The Collaborative’s work will be done by people and organizations aligning to achieve one or more of the Collaborative’s objectives.

The Collaborative welcomes leaders and service providers from the health, education and other social sectors  to help break down silos and take an intersectoral approach to the family justice system.

The Collaborative expects much of its work to be done in communities both local and subject-focused.
